ABOUT THE SESSION
This session, hosted in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC) and Women Presidents Organization (WPO) is designed to empower businesses based in Ontario, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to implement effective capital funding approaches, optimize cash flow management, leverage grants, and navigate the complexities of taxation.
The landscape of capital funding: equity, debt, venture capital
- Identifying relevant SME grants & tax incentives
- Tax policies & considerations
- Developing an elevator pitch for investors and grant panels

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
This program is open to female business owners who are actively involved in a day-to-day senior management role and who are currently WPO members or interested in becoming a WPO member.
- Annual revenue exceeding $1,000,000.
- Operational for a minimum of 2 years.
- Registered in Canada.
- Exploring the possibility of expanding their business internationally and/or already exporting a product, services or technologies and want to diversify their export market
