Trevor Dauphinee is the Chief Commercial Officer of the Toronto Region Board of Trade, where he leads both the Commercial team and the World Trade Centre-Toronto. Trevor’s mandate is to reimagine the Board’s commercial team and partnership strategy, creating bespoke offerings for members and sponsors while driving stronger strategic alignment across WTC programming and the Board’s broader initiatives.
Trevor brings a wealth of experience to the Board, having most recently served as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer at Invest Ontario. Under his leadership, Invest Ontario secured billions in investments and created thousands of jobs. Before this role, Trevor held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister in the Industry and Sector Strategy Division at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade, where he was instrumental in securing significant investments in the manufacturing, life sciences, and technology sectors. Prior to this, Trevor worked as the Vice President of Strategic Accounts at the Ontario Investment Office. His extensive experience also includes roles at Ontario’s Treasury Board and the Ministry of Infrastructure, where he specialized in capital planning and developing social and health infrastructure. Earlier in his career, Trevor worked extensively in the private sector including consulting at RLG International, and account management at Dow Automotive.
