Joining the TRBOT as a member is an excellent way for any company to access valuable resources and networking opportunities. To become a member, follow these steps:

1. Visit bot.com/Memberships.
2. Explore membership options by navigating to the "Membership" section.
3. Choose "Corporate Memberships" or "Individual Membership".
4. To purchase an Individual Membership, follow the on-screen instructions, provide the necessary details, and complete the online payment process.
5. To purchase a Corporate Membership online, reach out to a TRBOT team member or choose your desired membership tier – Profile, Profile Plus, Influence, and Influencer – and purchase online.

NOTE: Assistance from a TRBOT team member is available. If you have questions about corporate memberships, you can contact us here and we will get back to you. Our team will guide you through the membership selection process, explain the benefits of each tier, and assist you in completing your purchase.

TRBOT offers two convenient payment options: Credit Card and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Whichever payment method you choose, we make the process as seamless as possible to ensure you access all the benefits and resources of your membership without any interruptions.

Credit Card: We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, providing the convenience of making a one-time payment and immediately accessing all your TRBOT benefits. 

• Step 1: Visit bot.com/home and locate the sign-in button at the top right of the page. 
• Step 2: After entering your username and password, you will be directed to “My Dashboard“ (see question 3 to find out how to create your account to access the dashboard). 
• Step 3: Locate and click on the “Your Billing & Payments” link and follow the instructions.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): With EFT, you can automatically authorize TRBOT to deduct the membership fee from your bank account. This is a hassle-free way to ensure timely payments and eliminates the need for manual transactions. To receive the complete Wire Transfer / EFT Information, please contact our accounts payable team by email at ap@bot.com.

Members and non-members may create a “My Dashboard” account, which allows you to manage your experience, including paying for your membership, activating discounts for any event registrations, managing your communication preferences, and accessing reports and our latest news.  

As a member, you'll enjoy exclusive access to our “Member Directory” (see questions 8 and 9 for more details), connecting you with diverse business professionals at all stages, complete with names, titles, and contact information. 

• Step 1: Navigate to www.bot.com/home.
• Step 2: Click "Sign In" (top right-hand corner).
• Step 3: Click "Sign Up Now".
• Step 4: Enter your email address to receive a 6-digit verification code through your email.
• Step 5: Check your email and obtain the verification code. 
• Step 6: Input the code in the verification code field.
• Step 7: Enter your given name and surname. 
• Step 8: Enter your company name and job title. If your company name is not listed, proceed to create one.

• Step 1: Go to www.bot.com/home.
• Step 2: Click "Sign In" (top right-hand corner).
• Step 3: Enter your email address.
• Step 4: Enter your password.

Step 1: Contact your employer’s administrator to inquire about being added to their TRBOT membership account. If you are unsure who the administrator is, email us at membership@bot.com and provide us with your details, including:

• First and Last Name
• Work Email Address
• Company Name
• Job Title

Step 2: Upon receiving your email, we will connect you with the primary contact of your organization responsible for the membership account or a member of the TRBOT team to further assist you. 

For corporate accounts, please get in touch with your relationship manager at TRBOT. If you’re not sure who it is, please email us at membership@bot.com.

For individual accounts, please email us at membership@bot.com.

You may view your current list of roster members by logging in to My Dashboard. If you still need to set up a My Dashboard account, please refer to question 3. 

To add members to your corporate account:

• Step 1: Log in to My Dashboard.
• Step 2: In the left navigation bar, select "Manage Your Rosters".
• Step 3: To add a new member, select "Add User".
• Step 4: Fill in their first and last name, job title, and email address. You may add them as a regular member by selecting "Yes" to Active Roster. You may also grant the member admin permission. This will permit them to manage your members on the corporate account. 
• Step 5: Upon completion, select "Add User".

To deactivate a member from your corporate account:

• Step 1: Log in to My Dashboard.
• Step 2: In the left navigation bar, select "Manage Your Roster".
• Step 3: Find the person you would like to deactivate. 
• Step 4: Select the pencil icon to edit.
• Step 5: To deactivate this user, select "No" on the Active Roster and Account Admin fields.
• Step 6: Select "Save Changes".
• Step 7: To permanently delete this user from your listing, send your request to membership@bot.com.

• Step 1: Ensure you are a current TRBOT member, as membership is a prerequisite to access the directory. If your organization is a member but you have not been added as a roster member, you have 2 options: 

1. Contact your company’s administrator to be added. You will then be able to create an account to access the directory.
2. Email us at membership@bot.com – Please see question 5 on how employees can become members of TRBOT.

• Step 2: Once registered, you can login with your username and password to access the Member Directory securely. If you haven't received your login credentials, continue below.
• Step 3: Visit bot.com/home and locate the "Sign In" button at the top right corner. You need to sign in using your username and password. Then you will be directed to the Members Dashboard. 
• Step 4: Click on "Member Directory" on the left navigation menu to access the database. Continue to question 9 for instructions on how to search for other members.

To access the Member Directory, you must first be a TRBOT member and create a My Dashboard account. Refer to Question 3 if you still need to create an account. 

• Step 1: Upon logging in as a member, you will see "Member Directory" in the left navigation menu. 
• Step 2: Click on "Member Directory".
• Step 3: You may search by name, or you may expand your search by expanding "Filter by Industry" and putting a checkmark on the selected industries.  
• Step 4: Click "Search".
• Step 5: A list of relevant members will appear, providing you with their name, industry, employer, job title, or contact information. 

Within the Member Directory, you will have access to a comprehensive list of our 11,500+ members and can apply search filters like industry, company name, contact details, or other specific criteria to find information you need.

• Step 1: Visit bot.com/home.
• Step 2: Locate the "Stay in touch with the Toronto Region Board of Trade" located at the bottom of the webpage.
• Step 3: Enter in your first, last name and email address.
• Step 4: Click on "I’m not a Robot".
• Step 5: Press "Submit".

As a subscriber, you may unsubscribe at any time. Look for a link in the newsletter or website to access your subscription preferences. You can also manage your preferences by logging into My Dashboard. Refer to questions 3 and 4 for registration instructions.

You will need a My Dashboard account to manage your content subscriptions. If you do not have one created, please follow question 3 on how to create your account. If you have an account, follow these steps:

• Step 1: Upon logging in to My Dashboard, in the left navigation menu, click on "Your Subscriptions".
• Step 2: You will see a list of available email subscriptions and communications options available to you.
• Step 3: Place a checkmark in the box for each communication type to receive updates. If you prefer not to receive communication, either mark a checkmark on the "Opt-out of All Subscriptions" option or uncheck the boxes associated with each communication type.
• Step 4: Save your changes by clicking "Save Changes".

You may log in to My Dashboard and change your email preferences at anytime. 

You can purchase tickets to events on our website (bot.com/events) using a Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card. Here's a step-by-step guide to complete your purchase. 

• Step 1: Visit bot.com/Events.
• Step 2: Select an event you want to attend and click into the page to view more details.
• Step 3: On the event page, you can read the event description and see individual ticket and table pricing. Click "Register" to proceed with the ticket purchase.
• Step 4: A pop-up window will appear where you can select the ticket type. 
• Step 5: Click on "Buy Members Tickets / Create Account".
• Step 6: You will be taken to the Account Sign-In page, where you will have to login. If you don’t have an account, refer to question 3 for registration support.
• Step 7: You will be brought back to the event page, select the "Buy Ticket" or the "Buy a Table" option.
• Step 8: A new window will open and you are now in our checkout page. You will begin by entering your email address. If you have a promo code, enter that into the appropriate field, then press "Continue".
• Step 9: Enter the required fields, including first name, last name, company and job title. Your details will be used for event communication and check-in purposes. Press "Continue".
• Step 10: Event Agenda – Review the agenda and cost of the event, then press "Continue".
• Step 11: Dietary Preferences – Choose your dietary preference and proceed by clicking "Continue". As many TRBOT events include food and beverages, indicating your dietary requirements here will enable us to ensure your needs are met.
• Step 12: Additional Attendee(s) – You can register additional guests if you select "Yes". You will be asked to enter the email and other guest information. You can register up to 6 additional attendees for most events. For more than 6 guests, we suggest purchasing a table. Opting for a table purchase ensures that your entire group will be seated together. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the same table placement for individual purchases.

If you select "No" to additional attendees, continue to step 13.

• Step 13: Payment Page – Enter all the required details. Review your order to ensure everything is accurate, then complete your purchase by pressing "Make Payment".
• Step 14: You will receive an event registration number and a confirmation email with all the details.

If you purchased a table or additional tickets, the process is the same, except you must repeat steps 9 – 14 for every added guest.

IMPORTANT: If you don't have the list of confirmed attendees, you can add them later. Nevertheless, please ensure that you submit your guest information at least four days before the event to secure your preferred menu selection.

Following these steps, you can purchase tickets for TRBOT events using your Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.
