Powering Ontario Forward: a Net-Zero Future

Presenting Sponsor:

The Bruce Power facility.

The scientific consensus is clear - there is no path to Net-Zero emissions by 2050 without nuclear power, and Bruce Power looks to continue its leadership position in the global clean energy transition, having already been responsible for fully 70 per cent of the energy used to end coal-powered generation in the province by 2014. As electrification will be needed to power Ontario-made electric vehicles and help achieve emissions reduction objectives, significantly more clean electricity will be needed to add to our grid, already one of the cleanest in the world.

Join Mike Rencheck, President and CEO of Bruce Power in a discussion as he unveils Bruce Power’s 2022 Annual Report. Since becoming Canada’s only private nuclear operator in 2001, providing clean, reliable energy to Ontario residents and businesses, and cancer-fighting medical isotopes globally,  Bruce Power has established a solid footing and is looking forward to a dynamic future.

Hear also from the Hon. Todd Smith, Ontario’s Minister of Energy, who will highlight Ontario’s leadership on nuclear energy.
