In May 2020, the Toronto Region Board of Trade (TRBOT) launched its Reimagining Recovery Framework. Consequently, The Economic Blueprint Institute (EBI), a subdivision of the TRBOT, produced a series of reports, known as the Business District Reports, that provided roadmaps to COVID-19 recovery planning in the Toronto Region.
This assessment guide provides an overview of the data used to develop the Business District Reports. It also helps readers understand the methodological decisions that underpin the reports, including how the EBI divided the Toronto Region into distinct business districts.
