In an article published April 4, 2022, freelance writer Matthew Hague spoke to Board of Trade CEO, Jan De Silva, about the creation of the new Climate Economy Strategic Council.

Hague describes the the council as a who’s who of bankers, lawyers, CEOs, tech innovators, real estate developers and government representatives, and hints at what to expect from the council over the next few years. The group's shared goal? To help the city and the surrounding region become carbon-neutral by 2050.
