ABOUT THE HOST MEMBERS

Tapestry Community Capital is a non-profit cooperative with the mission to democratize access to capital and investment via community bonds. We provide consulting services to organizations, in particular non-profits, charities and cooperatives, who want to raise community bonds. To date, we have facilitated the raise and management of $120M+ from 3,000+ community investors. 

Kensington Market Community Land Trust is a community based nonprofit corporation, in 2017. We own and directly operate a mixed-use building with 12 residential units at a wide range of affordability. We have hundreds of members, over 50% of whom either work or live in Kensington Market. In 2022, we were announced as a recipient of the Canadian Housing and Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s National Demonstrations Project featuring land assembly and community land trust (CLT) solutions for affordable housing provision across Canada.
