Following several years of disruptions, this year’s report focuses on Building Tomorrow: a look at how the Board successfully convened members of the business community and advocated on their behalf as we pivoted towards a new era focused on growth, productivity, and prosperity.
Since 1845, the Board has remained true to its vision of building a vibrant and prosperous city for people and businesses. Our 2023/24 Annual Report, Building Tomorrow, showcases the Board’s refreshed focus on our lagging productivity alongside other critical initiatives, including:
- The launch of the Business Council of Toronto
- The launch of our Congestion Task Force
- A continued return to in-person events, convening over 8,360 attendees across 108 events
- The launch of WTC-T’s Global Growth Series and program support for the Government of Canada’s Aerospace Regional Recovery Initiative (ARRI)
- An exciting announcement about fare integration and a major advocacy win for the Board
