The Executive Certificates program is for ambitious Canadian professionals, including entrepreneurs, business owners, managers, directors, executives and individuals seeking to enhance their expertise and acquire new skills to stay ahead in the ever-evolving business landscape.

This program offers in-depth and hands-on sessions that delve into crucial topics related to global trade and business expansion. Led by top-notch industry experts, participants will engage in workshops and receive valuable mentorship, empowering them to excel in the international marketplace.

About the Session:

This session will equip women entrepreneurs, business owners, managers, directors, and leaders of Ontario-based companies with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to adopt effective capital funding strategies and optimize cash flow management.

Led by industry experts and thought leaders in international trade and finance, this session will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • Types of capital funding: equity, debt, venture capital, angel investment
  • Assessing financial risks and opportunities in global markets

  • Identifying relevant SME grants & tax incentives for international expansion

  • International tax policies & considerations

  • Developing an elevator pitch for investors and grant panels

Participants will also be able to network with other business leaders and learn best practices.

Eligibility Criteria:

Executive Certificates are open to women entrepreneurs, business owners, managers, directors, and leaders of companies that are:

  • Exporting a product, services or technologies and want to diversify their export market or are exploring the possibility of expanding their business internationally 
  • Generating more than $250,000 in annual revenue  
  • Operating for at least 1 year and registered in Canada 
  • Offering an attractive value proposition
