About This Program

This full-day Executive Certificate workshop is focused on one thing: using AI to reclaim your time and sharpen how you operate as a leader. You'll explore how AI agents can take over the repetitive, text-heavy tasks that consume executive bandwidth — drafting communications, summarizing information, organizing decisions, and managing follow-through — so your attention stays on what only you can do. Through foundations, guided exercises, and live build sessions, you'll leave with working tools configured to your own workflows and a clear 30-day plan to put them into practice.

Designed for SMB leaders who are ready to move beyond passive learning, this program focuses on AI agents — systems that handle repetitive, text-heavy executive tasks like drafting, summarizing, planning, and follow-up — freeing your attention for higher-value decisions.

No prior AI experience required. You'll leave with practical tools built around your actual workflows, not generic templates.

Why Attend

Stop managing AI curiosity. Start deploying AI capacity.

Designed for SMB leaders who are time-constrained, skeptical of hype, and need to see real results before committing further. Rather than sitting through presentations about what AI could do, you'll spend the majority of the day working on your own workflows — building functional agents during guided sessions and covering the governance side most programs skip. By 4:00 pm, you won't just understand AI agents — you'll have built one.

  • Hands-On: You're not just watching demos. From Exercise 1 onward, you're working with your own workflows and building tools tailored to your actual role.
  • Same-Day Results: Leave with a working AI prototype. Your agent is configured and tested during the Build Sessions so you can deploy immediately.
  • Executive-Level Peer Group: Work alongside other SMB leaders navigating the same challenges. The small cohort format (max 25) keeps sessions focused and peer learning rich.
  • Governance & Risk Covered: Dedicated sessions on AI guardrails, hallucination, context limits, and when to keep humans in the loop, so you adopt AI responsibly.
  • Personalized, Not Generic— Exercises are structured around your bottlenecks and operating rhythm. The output is specific to how you actually run your day.
  • A 30-Day Plan, Not Just Ideas: The afternoon closes with structured Action Planning so you leave with a sequenced, realistic implementation roadmap rather than a list of things to figure out later.

Key Outcomes

This isn't a lecture. By the end of the day, every participant will have completed and created the following.

  • Mapped Bottlenecks: A clear picture of where your executive attention is being lost and which tasks are the highest-value candidates for AI support.
  • Defined AI Roles: Some of your high-frequency workflows matched to various types of AI roles.
  • Working AI Prototypes: One or more functional AI agents built and tested during the Build Sessions, configured to your real workflows, not demos.
  • Governance Framework: A personal set of guardrails covering when to trust AI output, when to review, and how to handle sensitive or high-stakes decisions.
  • 30-Day Action Plan: A sequenced, realistic plan for deploying and refining your agents over the first month, with clear milestones and check-in points.
  • Executive Certificate: Official recognition as part of the AI Business Catalyst Program's Executive Certificate series, issued by World Trade Centre Toronto.
