Summary
This report identifies priority markets for Toronto Region exporters, with a focus on opportunities based on sector. To do this, it first identifies seven priority industries within Ontario – aerospace, automotive, food & beverages, human health & sciences, cleantech, city tech and fintech. These industries were then categorized as either established or emerging.
With this framework established, the report provides a high-level analysis of each industry in the Canadian context, before providing a ranked list of counties each industry should focus on when seeking new trade agreements and relationships.
